Bob_Bell According to Chris Sailer, K Will Oliver has verbally committed to the University of Colorado. Oliver is the 13th known verbal commitment for the Buffs this cycle. Sailer, who runs one of the top kicking instruction programs in the country, has high praise for Oliver and ranks him the 12th best high school kicker in the country. If you click around on Sailer's site, you will find competitions where Oliver fared very well including his National Kicking Event where Oliver finished fourth overall. Kicking has long been a problem for the University of Colorado and it is good to see Embree address the situation. If Oliver signs, the Buffs will have three kickers on scholarship in Zach Grossnickle, Justin Castor and Oliver. Here is what Sailer said about Oliver via Scout.com: Will is a very talented kicker. He has a strong leg and makes kicks with great consistency. Also solid on kickoffs. A clutch perfomer that does his best when it counts the most. Has all the tools to be a great D1 kicker. Nice prospect. As a 2009 junior at Harvard-Westlake in California, Oliver was 10 for 10 on extra points and 6 for 8 on fields goals, with a long of 50.
