The No. 11 University of Colorado women's golf team battled strong but lost a couple of strokes near the end of its round and fell from second to finish sixth at the 2012 Pac-12 Championships. The Buffs, who were one stroke out of the lead about two-thirds of the way through the round, hit brief rough spot that cost them six strokes as they finished seven strokes behind champion California here Sunday at the Palouse Ridge Golf Course.
