The No. 11 University of Colorado women's golf team shot the fifth best round in school history—best in the postseason—and surged from sixth place into second place through two rounds of the 2012 Pac-12 Championships, held here at the Palouse Ridge Golf Club. After improving 24 strokes from their first round and shooting a second round 4-under par 284, the Buffs are three strokes behind No. 13 California (13-over 589) at 16-over par 592.
