SAMMAMISH, Wash. – Through 18 holes of play, the University of Colorado women’s golf team is tied for eighth in the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational at the Sahalee Country Club. The tournament, originally slated for three rounds, or 54 holes was shortened to 36 holes after fog delayed Tuesday's tee-times by four hours.

As a team, the Buffaloes shot a 303 or 15-over par. Washington, the tournament’s host school leads the invitational at three-under par 285. The Huskies are the only team to post a sub-par round. Gonzaga is in second place, nine shots behind the leader at 294 or 6-over. Pac-12 Conference opponent Stanford finished round one in third, two strokes back of Gonzaga with a 296. San Jose State is 11-over par in fourth place and Columbia rounds out the top-five, shooting a 300 or 12-over par.
