Sorry to dredge up this sorry game - but just noticed Upshaw has been kicked out at Washington. May help with both the Buff game there, and improve options for the #4 spot in the conference tournament.

Wow. That news deserves its own thread. Changes their entire team. Opponent shooting % going to go way up against the Huskies.

Upshaw Dismissed

Can't he get weed in Washington also?

No. I have been closely monitoring political commentary and Internet memes. It is clear that Colorado is the only place in the USA where one can acquire marijuana.

That's not a good omen for a team that only played 6 guys in Boulder anyway.

Sad story to hear. He was a force against CU and effectively blocked several more shots that he didn't get credit for as Ski tried to shoot over him. I was really impressed with his defense and though he had a future in the NBA. Definitely think we will beat them on the road this year without him.

If we're going to get this ship turned around, winning in Seattle is a must. Gotta figure we're in for two more home losses with UA and UU, so if we want an upper half finish in the conference, we pretty much need to win every other game - including at UCLA and at UW. This news makes that scenario a little more possible.

I think UA Is beatable at home. Not sure about UU - and even less so considering it's about 2 weeks away & i'm not sure if josh will be back.

Not the way we've been playing.

This has been a challenging year for CU hoops.

Have to win at SC and thus prove we're capable of winning a road game before I can let hope creep back. Really not trying to have a losing record heading into February.
