Well, I had DW fired earlier in the year...still not sure how I got that wrong. I am shocked he got a second chance though...thought that never happened.

FIU hired Ron Turner a couple weeks ago...unless you were going for symbolism,the hire was a head scratcher to many
 
Per a couple of outlets, USC has parted ways with its DB coach Marvin Sanders. If we're still potentially in the market for a DBs coach, perhaps this would be a good time to pick up the phone and give him a call.

Nevada hired Brian Polian from A&M a little while ago. Think that NMSU is the only opening left, and they brought on Doug Martin (former Kent State HC) as OC last week, so figure they'd just promote him.

Also, I thought Bob Stitt had like gazillion offers as an OC of a BCS conf school, what happened there :rolling_eyes:
 
I guess that kinda ends the talk that we couldn't land him as WR/RC. Obviously Oregon>CU but still disappointing. Is Bernardi our recruiting coordinator?
 
Glad we got Walters but disappointed we did not get Lubick as DB/RC coach.
Does anyone know if we even tried to get Lubick?

Thanks for the information.
If that is true and we never had a shot a Lubick I am not as disappointed. Hopefully, Walters will be the next big time recruiter aided by a well-coached team heading up. Go Buffs.

FIFY. CU is better than Oregon in nearly every respect. Don't give that miserable little mill town more cred than it deserves.
