This could be a bit of a trend for where money gets spent. Lots of great leaders, motivators and chalkboard coaches at lower levels. Why pay a premium for big program experience when recruiting success is determined by how much money you have to spend? Why spend money on a coach that could be used to upgrade your roster?

Think this is just Woj hiring his best friend after firing the best coach in school history.
Maybe he'll realize one day that being at that many schools wasn't a school problem. It looks like a you problem to me. Hell, it's just utter chaos these days because he isn't the only one.
Iowa State WBB now has 9 players in the portal. Neither the AD or coach will comment. I read behind the scenes, Fennelly called the transfers "losers and whinters". He recruited them.
The other thing is the players don't like the favoritism towards Audi Crooks. She decides when she needs a rest during the game and doesn't have to do all of the drills, etc. in practice. The game plan is to get the ball to Crooks. That comes at the cost of other players not getting numbers.

It's the NCAA. If they don't do early morning media and late afternoon practice times how else are the NCAA execs going to get in 36 holes and a massage while they can expense account it?
