College Football News, Rumor & Humor

Deerfield Beach is Ft. Lauderdale area. The Florida East Coast (FEC) rail line straddles the coast and runs through heavily populated areas that are similarly positioned along the water on the Atlantic Ridge. Unfortunately, this makes for a very dangerous combination, and far too many people get struck. #37 wide receiver this class, full ride to Georgia Tech. Kid had his whole life ahead of him. Very tragic.
2002-2019. That’s not right.

XAVIER KELLY
DL, CLEMSON TIGERS

Clemson redshirt senior DE Xavier Kelly announced that he will transfer.
Kelly has entered the transfer portal as a graduate and is eligible to play immediately wherever he winds up. A top 150-recruit coming out of high school, Kelly only saw 87 snaps last year. He finishes his Clemson career with a disappointing 2.5 sacks. He's no doubt looking for a starting opportunity elsewhere.

I didn’t see this discussed elsewhere, but looks like the fight between Boise State and the Mountain West Conference is heating up. BSU may end up bolting the conference altogether. If that happens, things could unravel quickly for the Mountain West.

C.J. POLLARDDB, USC TROJANS

USC redshirt senior S C.J. Pollard entered the NCAA transfer portal.
Pollard (6'1/195) initially signed on with the Trojans as a four-star recruit in the 2016 class. He went on to play a bit reserve role at USC and has recorded a combined 27 tackles over the past two seasons. In his transfer portal announcement on social media, Pollard indicated that he will be moving on as a graduate, allowing him to play immediately with his future outfit in 2020.

We could use this kid.

Last week, the Hotline reported on a massive budget shortfall at UCLA, which closed FY19 with a deficit of $18.9 million that will require a campus bailout (via an interest-bearing loan). Turns out, it's not a one-time squeeze in Westwood: Our projections for FY20, based on preliminary numbers provided by the school, peg the shortfall for FY20 at $17 million. The Bruins have to fix this mess on the revenue side, which means football had best start winning.

Wilner reporting that UCLA is 35 million in the hole between last year and this year. Holy ****. That's gonna break their AD.

They paid Chip Kelly a ****load of money to lose a bunch of games in front of 20,000 disinterested people.

Didn’t know where to put this but it’s hilarious.

Playing Rutgers should be considered the same as playing an FCS school for bowl eligibility purposes. If a team beats Rutgers and an FCS school in the same season only one of the wins should count towards the 6 win minimum.

B1G has some excellent teams at the top but some real trash at the bottom.

The return of the No Fun League to LA could not have been timed better to take advantage of the Pac-12 offering an inferior local product.
