Colorado Beaten By #9 Ranked Kansas, 90-54

In Lawrence on December 8th the Buffaloes were crushed by the 9th ranked Jayhawks, 90-54.
Kansas overwhelmed Colorado in shooting and three pointers. The Jayhawks had 54% shooting and their defense limited the Buffaloes to 37%. Kansas drained a morale-killing 24 points from the three-point line compared to six for Colorado. A particular problem for Colorado was its 54 points which was well below its 72.1 season average.
A few items of note about the matchup: Over the last four seasons, the Buffaloes are 0-8 against the Jayhawks including 0-4 at Allen Fieldhouse. Since 1980, the Colorado record against Kansas is 7-62.
Josh Scott led the way in scoring for the Buffaloes with 19 points in 34 minutes. Andre Roberson contributed a game-leading 11 rebounds. The Buffaloes have a record of 7-2.
Next up is a matchup with Fresno State on the road on December 12th.
