News Junkie
The Buffaloes got the wind knocked out of them in Boulder on February 23rd when they were pounded by the Cardinal, 74-50.
Colorado found itself dominated in rebounding and three-point shooting. Stanford put away the game on the boards with 50 rebounds to only 26 from Colorado. Stanford shot a game-critical 50% in threes as Colorado managed 21%. Colorado suffered with only 50 points when it usually gets 68.1 per game.
The Buffaloes just did not play up to expectations, dropping one they probably should have won. The Buffaloes are normally incredible playing at home, and the Cardinal lacked momentum after losing 3 out of 5. The Buffaloes have played the Cardinal earlier this season and lost that game as well, 84-64.
Askia Booker was a bright spot against the Cardinal with 12 points on 36% shooting in 26 minutes.
