Colorado will announce Jon Embree as its head coach at a press conference on Monday morning.

Embree, who comes to Colorado after coaching tight ends for the Washington Redskins, is a former Colorado tight end.

Former Colorado running back Eric Bieniemy will be the Buffaloes' offensive coordinator.

Embree replaces Dan Hawkins, who was fired Nov. 9 with three games remaining this season. Hawkins was the head coach at Colorado for five seasons.
