The reputed worst team in major college football got off the canvas Saturday, set its jaw and smacked Washington State in the nose.Colorado, widely mocked for a remarkably poor showing in an 0-3 start against bad competition, overcame a 17-point fourth-quarter deficit to win 35-34 at Washington State.The Buffaloes, who met individually this week with coach Jon Embree, celebrated a rare road win while the bloom wilted on the previously flowering Mike Leach Era in Pullman.
