Colorado Survives Oregon, 72-71

On February 4th, the Buffaloes turned it up a notch at home and narrowly beat the Ducks, 72-71, in conference play.
The game was a little closer than it was supposed to be, based on the talent level of the teams.
Colorado defeated Oregon while showing domination in free throw shooting, and also came out ahead in defensive rebounding.

Colorado used a big advantage on the boards to win the possession battle with 28 defensive rebounds to 25 for Oregon. Foul shooting led to an additional 23 points for the Buffaloes compared to only 10 points for the Ducks. A highlight for Colorado was its 7 blocked shots, which was above its 3.2 season average.
Askia Booker put up the most points for the Buffaloes with 17 points in 26 minutes, shooting 62% from the floor. Andre Roberson added seven big blocked shots.

The next game is against Arizona on the road on February 9th.
