cost of student football tix question

this came up in another thread, and your intrepid reporter Mick R. decided to "ask raplhie" and here's the answer. when i bought tix as a grad student about 99-2003 they were about 50 bucks a season. they've doubled in cost since (which is a pretty hard squeeze, IMO...but the 45-50 buck ticket was an absurd value for sec. 117, 20 rows up on the south 40 yardline).

Dear MR,

You asked:

"How much do the student season tickets cost? "

Hi there,

Student season tickets cost $110 for football tickets only, and $130 for the CU sports pass (Football and Men's Basketball).

You can find more information at www.cubuffs.com
, select the "Tickets" tab, then select "CU Student Tickets". You will need your student ID number and password to access student ticket purchase options.

Note: Students will be allowed to purchase football tickets after registering for classes for the Fall '09 semester.

Go Buffs!

Sincerely,

Ralphie

On a related note, does anyone here know if being a grad student at CU-Denver would qualify you to get student tickets for football games or do you have to pay full price?

They have a limited number of student season tickets for CU-Denver students. It is a bit more money than the CU-Boulder price. Last year they were somewhere around $145.
