Lots of CU connections on the CSU-Pueblo coaching staff:

Head Coach - Jon Wristen, former CU GA (1990) and later TE and Special Teams from 1999-2006
WR Coach - Bernard Jackson, former CU QB (2004-06)
OL Coach - Dave Borbely, former CU OL coach (2002-05)
DB Coach - Donnell Leomiti, former CU Safety (1992-95)

When I read that, my first thought was "wow," CSU-Pueblo has a lot of moral courage giving a second chance to a convicted felon who is either on probation or is just gotten off of probation. Because I work in the criminal justice system, and I see the dead end lives that convicted felons live, with so few prospects, it is really nice to see BJax land on his feet. And he is the very same Bernard Jackson who played QB for CU, not just some guy with the same name, per his CSU-Pueblo biography. So, to me, double congratulations are in order for CSU-Pueblo.

B-Jax obviously isn't the only guy with skeletons in his closet on that coaching staff, but it is good to see folks taking full advantage of an opportunity to put their past behind them and do something positive.

Exactly, good for them. Not about getting knocked down, it's gonna happen, get up and handle your biz.
