Very good hire. They're still poor.
wow after where he has been and jobs his name has been mentioned around to csu just wow
this is huge for them. I wonder what they are going to pay him.
Im really glad we get the first shot at him and all the hype that will be surrounding him.
We're in the PAC-12 so that is really all that matters IMO.
Suppose Bama Charlie will be getting an account at Ram Nation?
They'll love his meltdown posts.....
If he turns out to be a winner, how long does he stick around?
mcelwain is going to be in shock when he sees the kind of athletes hes working with compared to the ones he had at bama.
Something's rotten in Denmark. Dude could have picked up a number of D1 BCS jobs, but he goes slumming? Something coming down the pipe at Bama maybe?
Wonder if he required some investments like Buz did when he signed on with CU MBB
A two-story parking garage
CSU promised him a kicker.
so does this mean Urban Meyer is definitely out or is he going to be the OC?
Not to mention the facilities.
you're telling me bama has a practice facility that is actually 100 yards long?
McElwain was about 0-5 with job offers before CSU. Now he is 1-5. Good for him!!!
where else did he interview?
Fresno State, Memphis (supposedly accepted then rejected their offer), Southern Miss all this year. CU last year
I guarantee he never wins a game against us.
Boulder. He alleged knowing all about the "street agent" scene.
This is a great hire foe csu

In all honesty... decent hire for CSU... But CSU fans are delusional. "Top 3 OC in the nation."
I hope he takes that stupid wildcat pass with him. A lot of folks down here are not sad to see him go.
Looks like an exciting hire. Given how many openings there were this year in the college ranks, I have to hand it to Graham, the guy is backing up his bravado so far.
Fair warning, Mike Bohn REALLY wanted to hire McElwein.
good luck to csu.
i hope we stomp a ****ing mudhole the size of texas in the sheep, but other than that one game, i bear them no particular ill will. they've been relegated to the land of irrelevancy by the conference reshuffling and even a good hire won't change that.
it will be interesting to see how the guy does.
You mentioned that when there were rumors about him to CU. Has he been at Bama since Saban showed up? Before or after? (Sorry ahead of time for not TMFS, but I don't recall off the top of my head and don't feel like searching on my phone.

I would be more impressed if they hired Kirby Smart
