Wow, That's the first article I've seen that is criticle of the goat HC hire
Did Graham get himself hired as the new AD so he could get the recognition he felt he deserved?
That's embarrassing on a number of levels.
Guys, money is no object to CSU anymore
I see they're already busy spending that big paycheck from the Mountain West media deal.
Would be nice if the Denver media would run with this a little at least - take some of the shine off
Yeah, like when they ran the story about how CU actually paid (gasp!) for Eastern Washinton to come play a game at Folsom.
I tweeted it over to the sports desk - i expect nothing to come of it
You are saying a public institution is more or less wasting the tax payer´s money?
It's the end of the world when CU does it, but it's cute when CSU does
I'd imagine it was not tax money. Also, they may have entered into a fee for service lump sum contract expecting the search would take much longer and include more travel.
The article says that CSU paid twice as much for the services as any other school from this firm, ever
Some how they would figure out a way to slam CU if they even reported it.
"..... but it´s fine if they do it, as the precedent was set by the big, bad bullies in Boulder ... as you can see CSU, is clearly innocent here and the blame solely lies with the University of Colorado"
"CSU manages to hire coach for one third current CU coaches salary!"
But also has to pay him.
CSU making it rain
The little brothers from the north could have paid me $50k for the one week job. All I needed to do was post a thread titled "Who should CSU hire?". After all all the sarcasm (dave logan, danny boy, and others) was filtered I would give them the list.
That seems like an easy week of work.
At first I thought this post was a parody of Dio's posts from the "CSU Hire" thread. But then I realized it was Dio.
it's pretty easy to self-parody. Trust me.
