Sometimes it just takes awhile for the player with a five-star look to start playing like it. It still might be a bit premature to go that far when describing Colorado defensive tackle Conrad Obi, but the fourth-year junior from Grayson, Ga.

Sure would be nice to see Obi step up his game this year. Having the ability to platoon guys along the DL will help us late in games and late in the season.
 
Getting a productive year from Obi is a huge boon to our defense. We need to be much better in run defense and get some pass rush pressure up the middle so that QBs can't step into throws. A better and deeper DT rotation will do wonders for these things.
