The Colorado cross country team won't have to go far to pursue another Pac-12 championship in 2013.
CU confirmed this week that the 2013 Pac-12 championships will be held at Coal Creek Golf Course in Louisville.
Buffs head coach Mark Wetmore had been hoping to secure Coal Creek for the race because of the challenging nature of the course. This week, he officially got his wish.
The CU men's team has won the Pac-12 title the past two years. The women's team won the Pac-12 in 2011 and finished fifth this season. Most of this year's women's team returns in 2013, and many of the top men's runners return, as well.
CU last hosted a conference meet on Oct. 28, 2000, when the Big 12 Championships were held at Buffalo Ranch in Boulder.

This has got to be a BIG advantage right? I know these runners are in peak physical condition - but distance running at altitude? Yeahhhh

Hopefully they can take it easy and be fresh for the NCAA championships
