Looks like we saved some cheddar:

Boyle: $595k guaranteed
Lappe: $286k guaranteed

Both are at a $161k base.

Bzdelik had been at $650k guaranteed ($750k with incentives). That was already lowest in the Big 12, which averages $1.3 million.
McConnell-Miller had been at $361k total. Big 12 average is $600k.

The buyout on Boyle is $500k during the next 2 years, $350k the following year, and $100k in the 4th year of his deal (May 1, 2013 - April 30, 2014).
The buyout on Lappe is $250k during the next 3 years and $100k in the 4th year (May 1, 2013 - April 30, 2014).

If CU fires Boyle, it's on the hook for all the guaranteed money for the remainder of the contract.
If CU fires Lappe, it's on the hook for the base salary for the remainder of the contract.
