CU regents OK 5-year contract extension for Athletic Director Mike Bohn

The University of Colorado regents today unanimously approved a five-year contract extension for Athletic Director Mike Bohn. His base pay salary of $297,000 will remain the same, and he is eligible to earn up to $100,000 in performance bonuses.

hmmm, I wonder what kind of extension he would get if he actually made a good hire in any sport. And before you go nuts, it is too early to tell with both boyle and Embree.
 
Yeah this may be a cheap extension if Boyle or Embree turn out okay. But it could be a worthless extension if they don't.
 
Meh. He is getting paid diddly-poo.

I am not his biggest fan, but that is a cost that can be absorbed going forward if the situation changes.
 
obviously not a vote of confidence based on his salary remaining the same, but it appears like they all want to see how these past three hires turn out for CU sports. Good move for the regents.
 
PAC 12 move was great. He will always be remembered for helping us make one of the best moves in CU history.


unfortunately, Hawkins stink is still wafting around....
