CU talks with Bellotti - will not pursue Leach

If the AD was going to actively fuel a campaign of disinformation, the person that they would make sure was writing a story about the coaching search every few days is this guy.
 
I really do not think he trashed CU during the OU game. He talked about the troubles we had in winning over the last several years but did also mention that we had tradition. When facilities were brought up he even said he could not comment on them as he was not familiar with the state of them. I thought it was a pretty fair assessment of where we were with the coach we had on the field at the time.
 
Also, if Bellotti knew anything about CU he probably knew it through Hawkins or at least Bob Foster. They both played for Foster at UC-Davis and had him work on their staffs.
