CU Tennis Drops 5-2 Decision To No. 35 Arizona

TUCSON, Ariz. – Senior Winde Janssens and sophomore Dhany Quevedo claimed singles points, however the host Arizona Wildcats secured the doubles and three singles points in straight sets to defeat the University of Colorado women’s team, 5-2, Saturday afternoon at the Robson Tennis Center in Tucson.

The setback drops CU to 8-12 overall and 0-8 in the Pac-12, while Arizona has now won nine of its last 11 matches, improve to 16-3 overall and 5-2 in the conference.

Arizona secured the doubles portion winning two of the three matches for the 1-0 lead. The Wildcats are now 16-0 when winning the doubles point this season.
