CU Women Dominate ITA Summer Circuit

BOULDER – On the final day of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Summer Circuit hosted by the University of Colorado, the home team reached the finals in both women’s draws, and by the end of the day, both student-athletes representing CU claimed first place honors at the South Campus Tennis Courts.

CU freshman and top-seeded Dhany Quevedo defeated third seed Meagan Monaghan, 7-5, 6-4 to claim the women’s singles draw championship, then in doubles, Quevedo made it a two-for-two on the victory stand, this time teaming up with Winde Janssens to claim the women’s doubles title. The CU pair defeated Meagan Kuosman and Linley Busby, 8-4.
