BOULDER — Junior Joslyn Hayes returned to the Colorado line-up on Friday night after missing three matches and helped the Buffs take down Oregon State in four sets (25-21, 18-25, 25-19, 25-23).
With the win, the Buffs improved to 12-7 this season, 4-5 in Pac-12 play, while OSU is now 8-12 overall, 1-8 in the Pac-12.
WHAT HAPPENED: Hayes recorded 13 kills and two blocks for 14,0 points on the night, which was second on the team. Two other Buffs,Stephanie Shadley and Alexa Smith, also tallied double-digit marks in kills. Shadley let the team with 14 kills, while Smith tallied 11 kills. Both Shadley and Smith also did well defensively, picking up double-doubles. Smith recorded a career-best 19 digs, while Shadley had 16 digs, one shy of her career-best.
