BOULDER – The University of Colorado women’s soccer team recorded its second clean sheet of the season in dominant fashion on Sunday, defeating New Mexico 4-0 at Prentup Field.

The Buffaloes improved to 2-1-1 overall and New Mexico dropped to 1-3 on the season.

Colorado, eager to bounce back from a tough defeat on Friday and finish the weekend on a high note were led by newcomers Danica Evans and Stephanie Zuniga-Herrera as the duo tallied their first goals of their CU careers. Sophomore Joss Orejel also scored her first as a Buff and forward Brittney Stark punched in her first of the 2015 campaign.

Congrats again to the soccer team for the win, scoring the most goals of the year and the shutout!
(Looking quickly through past results, looks like this may be 1st time the Buffs have scored 4 goals or more in a match since they beat Stony Brook 4-0 back on September 20th, 2013.)
