Best of wishes to the volleyball team. Hope they get a 4 match winning streak going, have fun while competing hard, and let everything else take care of itself!

Hope some Allbuffians can especially make it out to senior day, while Friday is an opportunity to see one of the better teams in the country (who the Buffs have I believe beaten the last 2 times the teams have met at the Keg).

Per http://www.buffzone.com/volleyball/ci_30580696/cierra-simpson-ready-final-home-dates-cu-buffs , ".... Unfortunately for the Simpson sisters they already have played their final match together at CU — junior Gabby Simpson will miss the final four games due to an injury ...." Hope she recovers quickly, fully and without too much of a hassle or pain.

Note- Also per the article, previous backup (now starting) setter Marie Zimmerman, who is only a junior on the roster, is graduating this year and so will, as shown in the below instagram, be included in the senior day festivities.

(Live stats show the Buffs still playing Cal, but the players listed are at least correct as being the huskies who I assume are playing for them.)

SIGH!! If only the volley Buffs could play more consistently at the level they are capable of playing.

Match started.

Season definitely seems to be taking a toll (assuming it's not a senior day thing), as 5-6 rostered players aren't in uniform today.

After a loose middle of the 1st set, Buffs mount a great comeback effort that falls just short 23-25.

Buffs lose the 3rd, I believe something like 14-25.

Hope the team gets it together to have an enjoyable time playing quality ball with each other one last time next week at asu and ut.
