BOULDER - Colorado's tennis team is looking for its first Pac-12 conference winning streak this weekend when it heads to Washington and Washington State. The Buffaloes are coming off a 4-3 upset of No. 59 Arizona on Sunday, their fourth Pac-12 win since joining the league in 2011-12. They have yet to win back-to-back conference matches in that time.

That task appears well in reach this weekend as CU faces two very winnable road matches. The Buffaloes take on No. 65 Washington on Friday at 1:30 p.m. PT (2:30 MT) and No. 58 Washington State on Sunday at 11 a.m. PT (12 p.m. MT). Both opponents are winless in Pac-12 play this season.

Washington has lost its past six matches, but has faced a tough early Pac-12 schedule with UCLA, Southern California and Oregon. The strongest singles position for the Huskies is No. 2 singles, where Stacey Hung is nationally-ranked and carries a 19-7 record. In doubles play, Nour Abbes and Miki Kobayashi are ranked 37th nationally.

Washington State opened the year 12-0 before dropping four of its past six matches, including all three Pac-12 matches. Donika Bashota leads the Cougars with a 32-5 mark and plays No. 1 singles. WSU has just one win against a ranked opponent this year.

CU is led by Nuria Ormeño Ruiz at the No. 1 position and is 19-6 overall. She is coming off her first win over a ranked opponent since 2013 after upsetting No. Lauren Marker from UA on Sunday. The Buffs also got wins from Jeannez Daniel, Alex Aiello and Annabelle Andrinopoulos in its win over Arizona.

Looks like there is a live stream available for today's match(es). (Probably partly or mainly based on the way my bracket already looks, I'm already getting saturated with MBB.)

Looks like Buffs can't put up much of a challenge in doubles. (This year's team does NOT seem to do very good in doubles in general, so hopefully this doesn't foreshadow the singles results today.)
