Players elected by a vote of the team to serve as captains are quarterback Sefo Liufau, linebacker Kenneth Olugbode, offensive tackle Jeromy Irwin, tight end/H-back George Frazier and running back Phillip Lindsay. Liufau and Olugbode are seniors; Irwin, Frazier and Lindsay are redshirt juniors.

How awesome is it that Frazier rebounded from a frustrating 2015 season that started with a disciplinary issue to become a captain for 2016? Dude must be working his ass off and rallying the other guys. Seeing these guys develop as they become upperclassmen is one of my favorite things about following a college team.
Really excited to see Frazier get back to form. He can be such a weapon especially in the redzone. He poses so many match up problems. I hope to see him drifting out wide and sefo hitting him for a walk in touchdown often this year.
