BOULDER – On Wednesday, April 26, Colorado's women's tennis team will head to Ojai, Calif., to compete in the Pac-12 Championships to decide who is the best team in the conference.
This season the championships will be for the first time in the tournaments' history, a team competition format instead of the traditional individual competition. The matches will be played in the traditional format with doubles starting the day, before heading into the singles competitions.
The Buffs enter the tournament seeded as the No. 10 team and on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. MT, will face the No. 30 Washington Huskies, seeded No. 7, in the first round of the tournament.
CU enters the tournament with a 9-12 (1-9 Pac-12) record and they finished tenth in the conference. Washington finished 16-8 (5-5 Pac-12) and they gained themselves a seventh-place finish in the conference.

The Pac-12 Networks will carry the final match in the tournament, scheduled for Saturday, April 29 at 4:00 p.m. MT. But live stats will be available throughout the tournament, along with complete notes and brackets at pac-12.com/tennischamps.
