BOULDER - Colorado will wrap up a four-match road trip this weekend in the Bay Area, taking on No. 20 Stanford on Friday at 1:30 p.m. PT and No. 1 California on Saturday at noon PT.

The Buffaloes (6-9, 1-3 Pac-12) are coming off losses at Washington and Washington State and are seeking their first win over a top-20 team since upsetting No. 12 William & Mary in 2007. Nuria Ormeño Ruiz is CU's lone ranked player, coming in at No. 74 in this week's national rankings. She has a team-best 20-7 singles record.

Stanford is 7-4 and has a 2-1 Pac-12 record with conference wins against No. 25 UCLA and No. 64 Arizona. The Cardinal also upset No. 7 Florida this year and have six wins against ranked teams. Individually, Taylor Davidson is the team's top-ranked player at No. 23 in the singles rankings and she and Caroline Doyle are the fourth-ranked doubles pair in the country. In total, Stanford has three individuals and two doubles pairs ranked this week. Carol Zhao, the team's top player, has been out since February.

Cal is 13-0 overall and 2-0 in the Pac-12 with conference wins against No. 36 Arizona State and No. 64 Arizona. The Golden Bears are coming off a 7-0 win against No. 5 Pepperdine. CU will be just the fourth opponent Cal has faced that is not ranked this season. It's no surprise Cal is ranked No. 1 with perhaps the deepest lineup in the country; the Golden Bears have five individuals ranked and two doubles pairs. Maegan Manasse is the top-ranked Cal player at No. 7 and she and Denise Starr are the sixth-ranked doubles pair in Division I.
