" ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Nicole Kenneally's team responded the way she wanted it to from its first loss of the season as Colorado handed UTEP its first loss on Sunday with a 5-2 victory in Albuquerque, N.M. "[I'm] very happy we got the win, especially on the road," Kenneally said. "Doubles wasn't pretty but we got the job done. We tried some different combinations there and we have different possibilities." ... CU improved to 2-1 on the season, while UTEP dropped to 3-1. "It would've been nice to go 2-0 down here, but going 1-1 was good," Kenneally said of Friday's loss to New Mexico and Sunday's win over UTEP. "We played at a high level on Friday night and need to keep building on that." Colorado will return home next weekend for a pair of matches at the Rocky Mountain Tennis Center in Boulder. CU will take on the University of Denver on Saturday at 11 a.m. and Boise State on Sunday at 11 a.m. before hitting the road for the entire month of February. "
