BOULDER - Colorado signed Aubrey Knight to a National Letter of Intent on Nov. 10 and she is one of three players so far to make up CU's 2017 women's basketball recruiting class. She is currently a senior at Ventura High School in Ventura, California, and is averaging 15.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.4 assists, while leading Ventura to a 22-6 record, a No. 19 ranking in California and a No. 82 ranking nationally. She is listed a four-star recruit by ESPN and has a scout's grade of 94. Knight is also listed as the 73rd-best player overall in the country, including the 22nd-best guard. As a junior, she was named CIF (California Interscholastic Federation) Player of the Year for Division I-AA, and has been named first-team all-county and all-league twice already. She has led Ventura to two CIF championships as a sophomore and junior, and three league championships. She's also been a three-year letterwinner in volleyball and had a .540 hitting percentage as a senior.
