SAN FRANCISCO – Colorado's soccer team took two of the three Pac-12 weekly awards as Taylor Kornieck was named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week and Jalen Tompkins took home Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week honors for the second consecutive week. It is the first time since joining the league in 2011 that CU has won more than one award in the same week.

Kornieck, a freshman midfielder from Henderson, Nev., scored the game-winning goal in both matches for CU last week. She scored in the 56th minute in a 1-0 victory over Arizona on Thursday and connected on a score in the 45th minute of another 1-0 win at Arizona State on Sunday. For the season, she leads the team with eight goals, including five game-winners, ranking third nationally in the latter category.

Tompkins, a redshirt freshman goalkeeper from Phoenix, enjoyed a trip to her home state. She stopped all three shots she faced on Thursday at Arizona, while making six saves at ASU on Sunday. She had several key stops in the second half to preserve the 1-0 victory at ASU, making a diving save on a point-blank shot off a breakaway in the 63rd minute and then made two more saves in the 83rd minute as the Sun Devils pushed numbers forward to try to get a late equalizer. Tompkins also earned Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week last week and now has a shutout streak of 440 minutes, stopping the past 23 shots she has faced.

CU (9-3-0, 3-0-0 Pac-12) will host Oregon at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday at Prentup Field and Oregon State at 1 p.m. on Sunday. The Buffs take a seven-match winning streak into their homestand this weekend.
