BOULDER – University of Colorado golfer Esther Lee became the first two-time All-American in program history on Tuesday as she was named to the Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-American Second Team for a second consecutive year.

“This is a well-deserved honor for Esther,” said Colorado head coach Anne Kelly. “She is a very solid, consistent player and continues to set a high standard for CU women’s golf. I’m excited to see what she can accomplish during her upcoming senior year.”

Congrats to Ms. Lee!

(Always good to hear of positive program 1sts.)

Note- hadn't been following NCAA golf since the Buffs didn't make the NCAA championships, but stumbled on the championships semi-finals match play on the Golf Channel. Looks like a GREAT year for the Pac, as 3 (Stanford, UCLA and Washington) of the 4 semifinalists are from the Pac, and Stanford has just defeated Duke, so it will be an all-Pac final tomorrow.
