Go get'um Buffs!

Although neither host Stetson or CU show live stats available for today's game with UMass, Umass's website does show a link (http://stats.statbroadcast.com/broadcast/?id=167827 ) that will hopefully work when the game starts in less than an hour.

Assume updates will also be available at https://NOPE/CUBuffsWLax .

Note- I probably won't be able to provide updates.

Did now see there's confirmation from Stetson's twitter account about the Live Stats (and starting lineups are already up) for today's game.

Just noticed a little CU trivia related to today's opponent. The preview article linked to in the OP includes the following-

"The Minutewomen own a 1-0 lead in the all-time series against CU. They won the first meeting 17-4 on March 27, 2014."

Going quickly through the old schedules for the 1st 3 Buff seasons on cubuffs, that 13 goal deficit looks to be the largest the Buffs have ever suffered. Hope they can get some payback today!

Looks like the Buffs in a 2-0 hole right now, but still a long time (over 22 minutes) left in the 1st half.

And, as I type the above, Kiernan gets one back for the Buffs!

Kiernan already with the hat trick!

Buffs up 3-2.

This goal even more impressive/ satisfying, as the Buff's were playing a player down after a yellow card to Stinson.

And now last game's 3 goal scorer Stinson gets one. 4-2 Buffs. TO UMass with ~11:30 left in the 1st half.

Hope it doesn't end up hurting- UMass gets one back right before the half (11 seconds left)- 5-3 Buffs.

Darby with another for 8-5!

That girl is headed for All-American if she keeps it up this year.

Buffs shorthanded as Stinson gets her 2nd yellow card.

Don't know if lax is like soccer where a 2nd yellow means she's out for the rest of the game?

Buffs call timeout, as a UMass player got a yellow card and the Buffs have most of the 2 minute (???) penalty time to try and score a goal with a player advantage. 12:22 left.

This must be a feisty game or very tight refs. Live stats have 6 yellow cards so far. Can't remember a Buff game with that many, (although my memory does admittedly suck).
