HOUSTON — University of Colorado sophomore Gabby Simpson tied a career-high 14 kills to lead the Buffs in a sweep of Sam Houston State University (25-21, 25-16, 25-18) on Friday afternoon in the first match of the Rice Adidas Invitational.

The win snaps a two-match losing streak for the Buffs and moves them to a 3-3 overall record. SHSU is now 4-4 on the year.

Looks like they played a 5-1 with just Edelman setting and Gabby playing as a pin hitter. .
 
Yes, it was just Edelman setting. 34 assists, I believe.

Now to get the two matches tomorrow.
