PULLMAN —University of Colorado junior golfer Daniel O'Loughlin enjoyed a much better final round here Wednesday in the NCAA Northwest (Pullman) Regional, though not enough to qualify for the NCAA Finals later this month. O'Loughlin finished his season with a 1-under 69 to give him a 212 total for the three rounds (2-over par); that tied him for 47th in the standings. He had three birdies and 13 pars with just two bogeys, with most of his non-pars coming in a four-hole stretch (Nos. 5 through 8) where he scored birdie-bogey-birdie-birdie in shooting 33 on the front side. He bogeyed No. 11 and the parred out the remainder of the round.
