I was skeptical of the hire. I admit it. I thought Bohn got a raw deal. I was wrong. Hiring Rick George was one of the best decisions this University has ever made. I can't wait to see what he does next.
I like that he recognizes the need to work on the West side of the stadium.

Running a balanced budget, and achieving a small surplus in this athletic department is a small miracle.
I imagine the renovation priorities will be something like
1) Rails/Metal Work at Folsom and CEC (low cost, low impact)
2) Folsom Sound System (low cost, high impact)
3) Flatiron Club (medium cost, high impact, donor impact)
4) West Side renovation (high cost, high impact, high donor impact)
I love that all these things are on his radar though. Both venues are already unique in their respective sports. Both can be world class venues.
Also Rick George is the man. He will be taking this entire department to new heights in the very near future.
