CU's Academic Progress Rate (APR) report based on information for the four year period between 2006-07 and 2009-10 was released by the NCAA Tuesday, with good news across the board, including rates that are the highest in school history since the program was created seven years ago

Fantastic news!

We should promote this to a front page article.

Basketball pulled a perfect 1,000 score and football pulled a great 958 that will help keep our average high going forward, too. Lots of programs doing great work in the classroom and Bohn's initiatives to improve academic support are starting to pay significant dividends.

This will be a big help to recruiting as coaches will have more ammo when selling CU's academic prestige and the classroom performance of its athletes. Really helps with selling mom, which may be the most important thing when it comes to winning recruiting battles.

Is there a ranking anywhere? Curious how we fare against the rest of the P12.
