Okay gurus, what west coast/cali guys would be a good consideration for this position?

I'd like Mike Ekeler for OLB/ST. He is currently DC but at North Texas. I'd think giving him a ST coordinator title and a slight pay raise (highest I've read him making at UNT is $195,000) could sway him. Played under Leavitt and Bob Stoops at Kansas State. Coached under Stoops/Bo Pelini at Oklahoma and Nebraska. Also coached at USC and Georgia. That resume's a steal if MacIntyre can get him here and it definitely makes CU better.
