“As a team we have to get some people in shape and I am one of them” - not exactly a confidence-inspiring quote from Montez. The article hints at the fact he may have not been in shape in the past as well, with Roper telling him to get in shape - in addition to improving footwork. I hope this kid is ready to put in the work, or that one of the bench kids have the ability to compete.
