This article was one of the most encouraging reads in a long time. This is what college athletics should routinely be, instead of the farce at UNC and many other schools, including at times our own. I'm proud to have Mike Mac as the head coach of my college football program, as well as Ms Bason.
 
She's fantastic.

And I actually believe that the following is sincere:

"For (head coach Mike MacIntyre), it's not just about football," Bason said. "We're going to win a lot of games, but in doing so, we're going to make sure that we're creating young men who have their degree who, once football is over, they'll be able to go out and have an awesome career, something they're passionate about."
