University of Colorado defensive lineman Samson Kafovalu was reinstated for the Buffs' first day of practice Thursday after pleading guilty to one count of obstructing a police officer.

This is a very big deal.

Timing makes sense. Court issues were settled and nothing about this was related to CU's campus or student safety. It was a legal issue and a program discipline issue. Kind of like when Frazier got his DUI last year and HCMM suspended him a bit.
