He was terrific. The music that accompanies the video, on the other hand, is horrific.
I bumped into Darrin at a bar once in Boulder. I don't think anyone was a bigger fan of Darrin Chiaverini than Darrin Chiaverini. :smile2:
Seriously, though, he was fearless across the middle.
what ever happened to him?
Thanks - some very rare clips in there
:wow:Maybe he talked back to obalijah in the bar.
Chiv was awesome. Guy had no fear, great hands and he had ATTITUDE. Would like to see some of that with our wr's again.
I believe he's an asst. at UCLA. Before that he was coaching at a JUCO.
Darrin Chiaverini (born October 12, 1977 in Orange County, California) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League for the Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys, and the Atlanta Falcons. He played college football at the University of Colorado and was drafted in the fifth round of the 1999 NFL Draft.
He holds the Browns' record for most catches by a rookie (1999). Since leaving the NFL he has gone into coaching and is currently the Co-Offensive Coordinator for Mount San Antonio College.
Ya know, we kinda need a WR coach around here.
He left last season to join UCLA. I can't find a profile on UCLA's website though.
Check out his facebook page. He and his family are all decked out in Bruin gear.
Why not Dave Logan?
You laugh, but he'd be a good WR coach, too. Just not a head coach at the D-1 level. You could do a lot worse than having a 10+ year NFL veteran wide receiver with head coaching experience coaching your wide receivers.
His twin brother, Ryan, is a sportscaster in Chicago.
I even had a couple inches on the guy and I still wouldn't have messed with him. Guy was stacked, and had to be for all the hits he took.
Any interesting moles or tatoos in unusual places?
You can't tell by my avatar, but I took a lot of hits when I was younger.
Yeah, some caps and stems too I bet
