STANFORD, Calif. – The University of Colorado women’s distance runners raced their way into the CU record book in the 800 and 10,000-meter runs at the Stanford Invitational late Friday night and Saturday afternoon.
Liz Tremblay, already the third best performer for CU in the 800, recorded another great performance for the record books Saturday afternoon. She ran the 800 for a time of 2:07.38, taking the ninth spot on the all-time performances list right after her own 2:07.07 time, which was recorded at the 2011 Big 12 Championships. With the race today, Tremblay holds eight of the top 15 positions on the all-time performances list. In the invitational section at the Stanford Invite, her time was good for sixth place.
