Dustin Thomas to Arkansas (dismissed from Ark)

Per an article out today, looks like Mr. Thomas "only" got a $500 fine and a year's probation (Per http://www.wholehogsports.com/news/2015/dec/11/razorback-basketball-player-fined-500-g/ ).

After his plea deal, Thomas has been reinstated to the Razorbacks' team activities. He will be eligible to begin practicing with the team at the conclusion of the fall semester.

Thomas is attending classes but remains suspended from the team pending a resolution to his case. Arkansas Coach Mike Anderson declined comment Thursday on Thomas' status with the team or when he may be reinstated and begin practicing.

"Right now I won't comment on it, but we'll be reaching something here pretty soon," Anderson said.

Reading into the story that he pleaded guilty to a deferred judgement as did the others who were accused of much more involvement.

If he keeps his nose clean and complies with the conditions he will end up with a clean record.

Be a good lesson to him and not screw up the rest of his life, sounds like a fair resolution.

I hope Dustin pulls it together and makes the most of his college opportunity. What is he, 20 or 21 years old? Life's just getting started.
