Hope he can recruit and get good assts that can coach lights out.
Interesting that Embree will be interviewed as well
Ok now that we're not bowling the future staff can spend all their time recruiting
sounds like it's Bieniemy's second interview...
Pull the trigger on Sunday, Bohn.
Let's get this done and start moving forward.
I'm ready to have this program entrusted into the hands of some guys that are going to hold people accountable.
Unless Bohn was just blowing smoke in the broadcast booth.
Sounds like he is waiting for teams to finish their seasons tomorrow so he can conduct more interviews
same Bohn who when interviewed at the Cal game said CU would be playing in the Big 12 in 2011....
Hope we hire him...
no difference in those two situations and how he may play his cards to you at all?
Bring him in Bohn.
Come on Scooter!!!
It's going to come down to these 4 ..EB-MAC-CABRAL or Calhoun...
Belotti already said no, miles isn't coming, forget auburn's OC, or hoke.
Not much left to choose from.
IMHO it realistically comes down to EB or Calhoun. I think CU is still making a 'play' for Miles though I think it's a longshot.
What happened to all of the love for Venables?
The move to the Pac 12 imo
I can't believe Calhoun may realistically be in our top 2.... that is the best the University of Colorado can do????
EB with good coordinators, please.
Other than the list of the usual suspects ( EB, Mac, Embree, Calhoun, Logan etc. ) I am amazed at the lack of candidate names that have been "leaked" or released to the public.
I don't trust anything I read from Henderson, and Woelk and Ringo rarely give any new insight.
There has to a viable candidate or two that Bohn has made contact, but cannot talk till the end of the season. I would hate for Calhoun or EB to be hired without knowing that Bohn at least made an honest effort at a well known coordinator or head coach.
Bohn made a run at Bellotti, he said no thanks.
Bohn has spent two weeks trying to work something out with Miles, but they're too far apart $$$.
I don't know who else they've contacted, but with the financial constraints there are some limitations in going after an existing BCS coach.
You make a good point Lt.Col.
In your opinion.
If things had not exploded at they did, and CU was staying in the Big 12, would this coaching hire be as difficult or easier for Bohn.
The only issue with EB and pro coordinators is if they stay with there teams we lose out on recruiting, maybe they can leave early or have the rest of the staff in place to save recruiting.
Well the Vikes are not going to the playoffs so we will have him by the first week in Jan if he is the man. I know recruiting gets going next week but I am sure EB can make up for lost time in the recruiting dept.
It would be nice if he could leave the Vikes early though.
sign him Bohn!!
Bienemy might be willing to keep on 2 current coaches....Hagan and Cabral....who would handle the recruiting until he gets here in 4 1/2 weeks.
What'd I miss re: Hoke? Why are you dismissing him?
don't be surprised if Hoke is named HC for the Gophers next week-
i would rather keep ambrose over hagan
Yeah - Hagan can go for all I care
Separate names with a comma.
