EUGENE, Ore. -- Backup QB Bryan Bennett came off the bench for an injured Darron Thomas and led Oregon to a 41-27 victory over Arizona State.

The Ducks led 21-17 at halftime, but the Sun Devils took a 24-21 lead just after Thomas went down. The Ducks then scored and took control on both sides of the ball, with Bennett leading a dominant rushing attack.

The ninth-ranked Ducks improve to 5-1 overall and 3-0 in the Pac-12. No. 18 ASU falls to 5-2 and 3-1.

Thomas' status is uncertain and may remain that way because the Ducks don't share injury information.

Oregon plays at Colorado on Saturday. Arizona State, still a heavy favorite to win the South Division, which could mean a rematch with the Ducks, are off next week.
