Florida Shame

The defendant was too stoned to be a sexual assailant. Now that alibi is Florida dumb.

College football's reputation tarnished again.

Let me get this straight.

UF had a football player accused of sexually assaulting another student.
The woman reported it to the university but did not file charges with the police.
UF appointed an independent arbiter for the case.
That arbiter is a scholarship donor for the football team.
The woman and her attorney didn't show up out of protest.
The arbiter ruled that the woman was pretending to be too drunk to give consent & the football player was too high to want to have sex anyway.
Innocent!

Seems fair.

What is up with women reporting to the coach, but not the police? This is wrong on so many levels. It seems to be the norm based on all these cases that keep coming up.

I wonder if the John Clune representing the complaintant is the Boulder based attorney by the same name.
